Privacy Policy

We don’t run ads or trackers on this site. We also don’t keep our own customer database — but checking out does collect your order and contact details, because checkout itself is handled by our commerce platform, Shopify, under Shopify’s own privacy policy, not stored or managed by us directly. A few features on this site use AI to help you shop — a chat concierge, a taste quiz, a photo-based “Try It On” preview, and a custom design assistant. Using any of them sends the information described below (your message, photo, or quiz answers) to our AI providers so they can generate a response. None of it is stored in a database on our end; if you choose to send a custom design to us, it’s delivered as a single email and that email is the only record we keep.

Browsing the collection doesn’t require an account. When you check out, you’re taken to our commerce platform’s own secure, hosted checkout page — we never see or store your payment details on this site.

Messages you send the concierge (the chat widget, or the homepage demo panel) and your answers on the /quizpage are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply or recommendation. They exist only in your browser for the length of your visit — we don’t log or store the conversation on our servers.

On a product page, uploading a photo to preview a piece sends that photo to our AI provider’s image API, which returns a generated preview. We don’t save the photo you upload or the image that comes back — it’s only ever held in your browser.

The /custompage lets you describe a piece and upload sketches or reference photos in a chat with our AI assistant, and generate a concept image. That conversation, and anything you upload, is sent to our AI provider to power the chat and image generation — again, not stored in a database on our end. If you use the “Send to Cunningham’s” button, the concept image, a summary of the conversation, and any contact details you chose to give us (name, email, phone) are emailed directly to our shop’s inbox. That email is the only place this information is kept.

Each AI feature is metered per visitor so a handful of people can’t exhaust it for everyone else. To do this, our rate limiter stores your IP address in a third-party database (Upstash) for about an hour, solely to count your usage, and then deletes it. It’s never linked to anything else you send us.

Names, emails, phone numbers, and messages you send through our contact form or the booking page are emailed directly to the shop. We use them only to respond to you.

We use these third-party services to run this site, each under its own privacy policy:

• Shopify — products, checkout, and orders.
• Vercel — hosting; keeps standard server logs.
• Anthropic and OpenAI — power the AI features; these providers may keep data briefly under their own policies.
• Upstash — rate limiting (see above).
• Acuity Scheduling — appointment booking.
• Google — the embedded map on our booking page, which may set Google cookies.
• Gmail — where contact-form and design emails are delivered.

We don’t sell or share your information for advertising.

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The embedded Google map and Acuity booking form on our booking page, and Shopify’s checkout, may set their own cookies under their respective policies.

This site isn’t directed to children under 13.
